1. An introduction to Bird Migration 

Start by showing the children the "Bird Migration / Il-Passa tal-Għasafar" video (Downloadable Materials). This will spark curiosity and give them a first glimpse into why and how birds travel such long distances. 

2. Voices of the birds 

Now that the children understand the basics of bird migration, help them deepen their knowledge with a fun language activity. Use the "What are they saying?" pages (Downloadable Materials) Show the pictures, discuss what’s happening, and invite the children to fill in the speech bubbles. Background information and sample answers can be found in the file. You may use these pages directly with the children or adapt them into a drawing activity to check their understanding. 

3. Craft and play
