My Special Friend 2
1. Story and Singing time
To consolidate the message of the story, use this rhyme, based on the tune of Here we go round the mulberry bush. Discuss the words, focusing on the message in the last stanza and relate to emerging themes. Let the kids read and sing the story during the lesson.
2. Create Snail Inspired Art
Follow up with art inspired by a snail’s shell. DO NOT use snails themselves. This is ideal if you are learning about colours. You may use the designs in the Downloadable Materials section to create your template.
