Robin Watch 3

Children relate the robin to a Christmas theme through seasonal activities.
Recommended Period for this Activity: Term 1/Beginning of Term 2

1. A Robin-themed Christmas
This year, why not let the robin inspire your Christmas theme? Its bright orange breast makes it perfect for festive crafts and decorations. Use the "Robin mobile" and the "Pon-pon robin" templates provided in the Downloadable Materials to create cheerful ornaments. Even if your school doesn’t have a resident robin, play the recordings occasionally to remind children that robins visit Malta in winterand that they can listen out for them outside school.

2. Bring the Robin story to life
Turn the robin story into a little performance! It’s a wonderful idea for a Christmas play, with its universal message of kindness and spreading joy. Children can dramatize the tale while sharing the spirit of giving and caring for others.
